The moral of Aesop’s fabled Country Mouse/ City Mouse: “… a way of life that is suitable for one person may not be suitable for another.”
City Mouse moved to San Francisco at age 24 for what she thought would be a 2-year stint in the city to launch her career in advertising. Twenty two years later she was still city-living having moved through the stages of singledom, newly married and mother of 3 little ones.
Through all life’s stages and twists and turns, it took a global pandemic to finally get her out of the state and out of the city and into a new form of living. She and her family are now embarking on a new and different chapter in the Pacific Northwest.
City Mouse is a marketing and advertising professional who keeps writing everyday and visits cities whenever she can.
